Modari khan

 Hi, everyone. Today our third practise day. Today we visited to Modarikhan. And we learned about this place a lot.   Modari Khan madrasah Modari Khan madrasah is a part of a Kosh madrasah complex. Kosh  means 'double' and is a general architectural term that can refer to any two opposing or facing halves of an ensemble. In Bukhara, it refers more specifically to the Modari Khan and Abdullah Khan Madrassah, situated a few hundred meters from the southwest corner of the Registan towards the old Shirgaron Gate. It is one of the outstanding Central Asiatic architectual work. Here architector bravely deviated from canon rules in planning, moving capacities assimetrically beyond the rectangular building outlines, including new forms in usual composition. So there was appeared inside yard spacious hall with cupola on twelve-sided light drum, it is known as "Abdullah-khan sky-light". The hall combines 20 hydjrs, situated in 2 tiers.

Madrasah of M. Ulug'bek

 Hi dears, today I am going to share my practise day in Mirzo Ulug'bek madrasah. Ulugbek Madrasah The Ulugh Beg Madrasa is one of only a handful of Timurid-era buildings that survive i n the Bukhara region, the others being the Chashma-ye Ayyub of western Bukhara and the madrasa of Ghijduvan. Of the three, the two madrasas were the work of Ulugh Beg, the astronomer-king and grandson of Timur who ruled from 1447-49. We learned lots of informations about this madrasah. It was very enjoyable😊

The madrasa of Abdulazizkhan

    The madrasah of Abdulaziz Khan   The madrasah of Abdulaziz Khan (ruler of the Ashtarkhanid dynasty) was built in Bukhara in 1652, 235 years later than the Ulugbek Madrasah. Contrary to tradition, it becomes a part of the architectural complex without inheriting the design of the attraction that had been constructed earlier. From the very beginning, it was planned to create a luxurious madrasah that would absorb the skills of the best architects of that time in order to amaze and delight people with its beauty and decoration. According to available information about that period, Abdulaziz Khan was known for his bravery and generosity. It is equally important that he was a lover of science and education. This is confirmed by the fact that one of the most beautiful libraries with manuscripts was collected during his reign. Another evidence is the madrasah build by his order.
